I have been feeling uninspired, lazy, hormonal and among many other things as of late all of which is due to my pregnancy. It isn't a cool feeling to have weight gain in all places which is why you will see future posts with very lack luster outfits, just like this one. Maybe I should just wait till I have the baby and post when I get my body back. They say it is hard to get your body back to it's original shape after the 2nd child, is that true?

Anyway, I love these Alaia so much that I bought them in 3 different colors during their sale last season: Black, Brown (worn here) and red. Love the classic look, the colors (every girl needs to own atleast a pair of red shoes, right?) and at a great price so.... what the heck! :)

Beautiful weather calls for outdoor activities and that includes eating outdoors. Linh and I had a Sunday to ourselves so we decided to enjoy brunch at one of our fav. places - Tiny Boxwood. The food is always delicious and they change up their menu every weekend so you have variety everytime you go. What I love most about this place is their freshly baked croissant with butter and jam - simplicity at it's best.

Sorry for the lack of updates and not commenting back. I have been busy and each time I get online, it is only for a short period of time. Thanks for all the comments and I do enjoy reading what you have to say!

What better way to celebrate a bday with a mani-pedi spa party + dinner with great friends? Having Edward at your birthday dinner! We invited a special guest, Edward!, to dinner and surprised her. Her expression was priceless - lots of oh my gahs and laughter. Nothing better than bringing much happiness to the bday girl. :)

This year, we wanted to get something special for one another and decided that everyone gets a gold necklace with their initial on it. Lovely idea! With her birthday being towards the end of the year, she was extremely estatic to finally receive hers.

Yes, the pooch on my belly is a lil bun in the oven!

This marks an end to my NY trip. Since 2002, I have frequented NY every year, not missed a year since and each time I visit, I feel renewed. There is something in the air in NY that makes me feels refreshed - maybe it is the hustle and bustle of the city (I am very much a city girl), the energy that it exudes, or enjoying the melting pot that makes this NYC. Whatever it is, I love it!

I purchased this Alaia dress in Paris and I am disappointed that the beauty of this dress was not captured. The back skirt of the dress is very bunched up and adds a uniqueness to the dress but obviously you can't tell from this awful picture. *sigh* Also, it is uber short in the back(it is longer in front and slopes up towards the back)! I might have flashed my undies while wearing it..yikes! Anyway, I will make sure better pics will be taken the next time I wear it.
